Some Mini Golf and Some Fishin!

What a fantastic summer so far!

On Friday we enjoyed the beautiful weather by staying outside pretty much all day. Mitch got off of work a little early, so we went to the Riot Zone to mini-golf!

 It was INCREDIBLY FUN....but the best part was that I (Ana) got a HOLE IN ONE on the 2nd hole!!!!!!! Right after that I told Mitch that if I won he owed me a snow cone....

We found a waterfall! That makes two in a week!

This hole was the coolest....you think you have to jump the water, but no, you don't.

So technically I didn't earn my snow cone....Mitch won by ONE point! 60 - 59! But because he's so nice he decided to get me one anyways due to my amazing hole in one. (Honestly it was pure luck, I don't think I was even watching.)

After the snow cone, it was on to....fishing in a canoe!

Here's a picture of one of our new rods. We got two from Sportsmans Warehouse on a super good deal! It was kind of random, but Mitch found them while he was in class last week and I think we ordered them that night!

It was a hot day! Probably too hot for fish to want to eat, even though we went in the evening.

For the record, I caught the first fish and then Mitch caught one right after! I thought I had just snagged the bottom when I caught mine, so when I reeled it in a jerked kinda hard and the fish went flying. We didn't keep either of them, they were just tiny guys! ....and neither of us really like to eat fish....except some kinds....

We had a fantastic day! Spending time together is the best and I wouldn't have it any other way! After our fishing/canoeing adventure, we went out to Mitch's house and played Mario Cart on the Wii with his brother Kyle. Then we took Kyle to Taco Bell and had dinner at ten o'clock at night and stopped to pick up stuff to make brownies to try a recipe Kyle came up with...they actually turned out great! Fun times!

Life is so good.
